When he think of Heat, we think of fire. Fireboy. Where did his love of fire come from? I can't say, but the power to manipulate fire came from his bad accident in a Formula-1 race. After crashing and burning his entire body, he miraculously recovered to the fullest extent, except for his ability to race again on the track.
Everyone likes Heat for one reason or another, ne? Well, for some of us, it's because he's a fly bishonen. Perhaps his racing skills? Or maybe it's just the outfit; the weird fire manipulation skill. Everyone likes him for their own reason. Well, usually anyway.
Let's look at his start. Racing. Racing usually involves fierce competetion, and 'burnin' rubber,' correct? Well, if you do race, normally you have to be able to handle heat, literally. So this contributes to his name/self, IHMO.
Take time out to analze his features. Let's start with his eyes, and go forth thereafter.
Eyes: They are brownish-red, if I am correct. Red is the color of fire. Brown is the color of earth. 2 elements, if I may add. Elemental properties. He manipulates fire. His eyes indicate he has special powers within himself. Brown eyes usually signify darkness, but not in all cases. He is in a self-centered manner, almost totally selfish. We can recognize this because he is generally classfied under "jerk", which would about do it. He says in the Japanese BAM, "You should be thanking me!" This means that we should thank him because you lost, and he won. In the English BAG, he says "You just got whooped!" Same plot, generically, and he is saying I won, I'm cool, You lost, you suck! How do his eyes indicate how he speaks? Red sometimes when you tend to flare up and be angry sometimes, and he's sarcastic and snobby. He almost seems like he inherited his eyes from a rich stuck-up parent. Eyes tell a lot of us. To sum it up, his eyes indicate he is self-centered, snoby, sarcastic, and generally classfied in the "A" category for "ass", and "A" because everyone seems to love him.
